Sony Xperia S Is Receiving Jelly Bean Update

Sony Xperia S Is Receiving Jelly Bean UpdateSony Xperia S is finally receiving Jelly Bean updates from Sony Mobile. Rumor on Jelly Bean update on Sony Xperia S has been flying for months and eventually it happened. Nevertheless, Sony Mobile has pulled back the release of Android 4.1.2 to Xperia S. The official page of Sony Xperia S has changed back to support Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich although Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean has been stated in the same page initially. We doubt the move of Sony to revert Jelly Bean support to Sony Xperia S back to Ice Cream Sandwich is due to stability issue on Jelly Bean firmware.

Sony Xperia S is the first Xperia device back in 2012 from Sony. It comes with android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and we expect Jelly Bean will flavor Sony Xperia S in 2013, which promised by Sony Mobile. Since the official Jelly Bean release has been pulled back, those who awaiting official update have to wait further longer. For those who interested in flashing manually the update, follow us and we shall push out the manual update tutorial very soon.
