HTC First : Root and Install ClockWorkMod Touch Recovery v6.0.3.2
HTC First is the first ever smartphone with Facebook integration as the lock screen, enable direct access to your Facebook page or Facebook messenger straight from the lock screen. It is the first attempt of Facebook to join the big party in smartphone industry after its great success in social networking. Nevertheless, this is not the first incorporation between HTC and Facebook as HTC Cha Cha with integrated Facebook button was launched back in February 2011. In contrary with HTC Cha Cha, HTC First is a pure touch screen smartphone without Facebook button. HTC First is not a flagship smartphone from HTC but yet attracts the World’s attention during the official launch. It is, however, a brand new concept which is exclusive to other Android devices.
It may not fully distributed around the world but it just cannot stop XDA developers from rooting it. How to root HTC First tutorial is now available in Android Teen with reference to XDA original thread. In this tutorial, we will have to unlock bootloader of HTC First, which is the very first step. Custom recovery for HTC First (CWM Touch) is also available for download and install. And eventually, you will have the full root access to your HTC First. Check out our post regarding the benefits of root before start.
HTC First is equipped with 1.4GHz dual core Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon 400 processor and 1GB RAM. It also comes with 16GB internal storage without SD card expansion, 5MP rear camera and 1.6MP front camera, 4.3 inches 1280×720 Super LCD display.
